Hello Autumn, hello chills.

So GOOD NEWS I got my Mumford and Son’s tickets. Woohoo! It was a tense half an hour, they went on sale at 9am but I believe the website must have gone down and it wasn’t until around 9:30am that I actually got in and got 2 standing tickets for the 9th December. I am so excited and I have booked the day off to go and queue early on, I think it will be amazing I am hoping to get to the front! Sarah has offered to pay for the parking which means we could take a blanket and supplies and queue and there are loads of places to eat so there will be lots of chance to get foods. I am really excited. When we hit October I have so much planned and to look forward to I cannot wait.

The weekend just gone was pretty dull, I am pretty sure this is what I will day at the beginning of post so perhaps unless it was eventful we can just assume it was dull haha!

Friday we put everything in the flat away, we had been airing it out all week. My Grandma amazingly washed so much stuff for me and I filled bin bag with charity shop clothes too! I believe the dehumidifier is working well as there is none or very little moisture on the window in the mornings. I have also done some research and feel more confident in keeping the damp away. All is back in its place now, and I believe I can get the washing finished this weekend so no more bags of stuff laying around. At least I know where to check in the rooms to see if there is a problem starting.

 It does mean that I need to invest in a dehumidifier though, that is a fair chunk of money so that kind of sucks but it is a small price to pay if it means I won’t get mold and damp. I am going to test my mum’s one for a few weeks and see how it goes, if no sign of it coming back then I know it will be worth it, I also need tyres for the car. Life is one big list of paying out money, crikey!

So this week is flying by again. I am glad as I have 2 weeks and 2 days to go before my week break. I am so excited for some time off I keep writing about it and going on about it, but I really feel like I need it!

 

I can really feel autumn setting in and so early this year. I even got gloves out this morning to keep the chill of my fragile hands. I’ve been wearing jackets and scarfs for a good 2 weeks now, I still feel like our summer never really came but I am now looking forward to all the things that come with autumn! Snuggly clothes, scarfs, hot drinks and lots of warm colours, and OF COURSE my winter/autumn dresses!

Sugarhill Boutique dress

I am having this for my Birthday it is a Sugarhill Boutique dress. So far I don’t have much on my wish list. My love for Harry Potter has exploded recently so I may just get money and get lots of Harry Potter stuff at the studio tour! I actually ordered another dress with that one (toucan dress) but it fitted really badly and the straps sat so strangely on me and just looked awkward so alas that went back (I was gutted as the fabric was stunning) I thought the above dress was a great all year round piece! The colour is bright enough for wearing in the summer but the style and cut means it can be worn when it's cooler too.

With the joys of lovely autumnal clothes coming in the shops I also picked up some new shoes. I have a little haul of shoes really, woops!

I wore some new pumps yesterday I got in the sale from Office a few weeks ago and they TORE my feet apart. My feet are covered in sores and blisters today, I knew I wouldn’t be able to get home in them so I popped/hobbled to Primark to get a plain pair to get home in. I however got carried away and left with 5 pairs in total (the black pair not pictured below were just their £4 plain black ones they always do)

I know 5 is quite a lot, but £34 for the lot I was pleased. I have been living off of 1 pair of grey pumps Laura bought be almost 2 years ago for about a year now, but the sole is falling off now. I also get fed up with putting together a lovely dress or outfit and not having any shoes to choose from and sometimes grey just doesn’t look great.

I loved all of these for the autumnal colours and I can’t wait to start pairing them with outfits and the brown pair are lovely and soft and actually practical! As much as I have tried to buy more practical shoes I still love my crappy little pumps. I think they look cute and I am most comfortable in them! I just REALLY want navy blue pair; which are always sold out in my size! Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on a pair soon!

In the spirit of autumn coming I have actually done a new design too and I am pretty happy with it! I am pretty sure its almost finished and I hope to complete it this weekend! I wanted to get brooches printed and made but money is a little tight and I bought 5 pairs of shoes instead ahah :p

 I hope everyone else is enjoying the chill in the air (although the sun is out in full force this afternoon!) and looking forward to autumn fun!

Primark home wishlist!

I went and had a little poke through Primark a few weeks ago and these caught my eye! The shops are all changing and I am loving the idea of some autumnal bedding and house wears.

Aren't they just gorgeous! I think when pay day comes around I will be investing in the mint raccoon one if it is still there, and only £13 for a kingsize that isn't too bad at all!

I am quite excited now to make subtle changes to my home for the first time as the seasons change and I am thinking bedding is the way to go with this!

New wardrobe! New me I hope.

I wanted to share these! I have lost about 3 stone in the last year and 5 stone in the last few years. SO this winter I wanted some new bits and pieces and I needed some bits as not everything fitted very well anymore.

I feel much more confident and rather than hiding in clothes I never really liked and pinning for jumpers and little dresses this year I finally feel confident enough to pull them off. I firmly believe in everyone is beautiful whatever shape you are and I see girls much bigger than I ever was pulling off the styles I longed to wear and looking amazing. I however as much as I tried couldn’t bring myself to do it and hated what I saw when I tried to dress like that. So this year its great to put on things I have wanted to wear for years and think woo I look good. Well some days some days not so much but that is something I need to work on my confidence!

SOOO I am loving jumpers at the moment. Festive sorts are my favourite with fairisle patterns and anything soft and warm or polka dot related! :)

Skater skirts are obviously a must with them for me! And denim ones are still my favourites as they go with anything and everything!

I’m loving little skater style dresses and smock dresses. Generally feeling like a small child :D Any cute pattern will suit and I am loving the tartan and checked look which I didn’t ever think I would go for.

So here are some of the bits I have picked up in the last month and I am very very pleased with most of them! Now I must stop buying things as I never bloody have time to wear them! 

1. Primark jumper…. Not great quality. IT’S LOVELY! but it was exceptionally itchy so i washed it before I worn it to try and soften it. It then shrunk on the white bits?? So It is a little uncomfortable now. Was about £12.

2. Forever 21 jumper! Love forever21 jumpers at the moment. So soft and comfy and fit great! That was around £18 I think.

3. South Dress from Very…. omg i saw this fell in love and found it on very for £12.50 in the sale :o Fits lovely and feels very fancy, so happy i had a nice smart going out dress and the foxes are to die for!

4. Yumi Dress. Saw this on modcloth for a lot of monies. Realised it was a english brand and was on House of Fraser for half price around £26. Looked amazing with black tights and heels. Almost didn’t order as i didn’t know what size to get between 3 >.< went smack bang in the middle and fitted perfectly.

5. Primark dress…. so cute makes me think of a school girl dress. My dad treated me to it. Really comfy not as flattering as the rest as its a smock style rather than being really skater style. So comfy though and only £12

6. Primark dress.. Loved this really different from what I normally wear! Nice and comfy wore it to MCM and was really nice to wear.

7. Forever 21 cardigan! Really loved this lovely festive print but not too festive so it can be worn in winter not just at Christmas. Had to size up as it was tight around the bust and I wish the sleeves were longer. I think this was around £18ish

8. Christmas Jumper, Primark around £12 Primark is FAB for xmas jumpers a little bit of silly for really cheap. I prefer mine from last year which i never really wore and this came up huge I had to go for an XS so it means the arms are very short. Pretty decent for the price though and not insanely itchy!

I’m so torn with Primark. They make great patterned and styled things. Things that was a little most adventurous or different! The dresses I love and think are great fits and quality for how cheap they are.

However things like my jumper put me off. Still itchy and fits a bit weird now! I’m not sure how much jumper wise I would buy from them which is a shame as they do awesome patterns.

I think I prefer to have quality over quantity although I do love their dresses I can't fault those.

So I went for an interview last Monday and I have been shortlisted out of two people for a 2^nd interview and mine is tomorrow. I am craping myself as I want this job sooo much! I went for it back in June and didn’t get it and the same position in a different part of the company had popped up and I got a phone call about it! I was so gutted I burst into tears lol I really really want a fresh new start for the new year. New people in my life a new environment to work in and a new direction in my life too! Plus a new look as I continue to lose weight and feel better about myself.  The place seems amazing and I love the atmosphere unlike where I am now. Plus its casual dress and I gots lots of clothes that need wearing :D

I know I am a nice person I really think I deserve a new start and a better year next years because the last two have been pretty fucking wank.

Autumn days! Bring on all the jumpers!

So I think it is safe to say that autumn has arrived. The mornings are FREEZING and the little radiator has gone on in our room! The trees are slowly going golden and I can see my breath in the mornings. Being England though it has also bought grey skies and rain. Lots of blinking rain. But I’m hoping the rain will pass and we will be blessed with lovely sunny chilly days with all the oranges, reds and yellows that autumn brings.!

So I was rattling on last time about getting some jumpers for my birthday. I ended up getting none of the ones I looked at haha! Well actually I got the black version of the grey one!

The thing that really sold it to me was the inside is reversed so if you role the sleeves up you get white with black spots instead of black with white! Lovely little jumper. I am still pretty set on getting the start print one! I think I will have that from grandma.

I got that jumper from forever 21, and me and Matt looked in the likes of Primark. Although the jumpers are cheaper (only by around £5) the quality difference was shocking! The materials were itchy and just felt horrible, the patterns were poorly done and bleed into each other. I think I will be aiming slightly higher. I’m not a throw away fashion person and I am going off of primark! They are good for shirts and kickers and pj's but that’s about it!

So I did manage to get what I went for which was Pj's they are sooo cute with little foxes on them. I don't have a picture of the top but that has a cute fox on the front and is just a plain navy blue. The fit really nicely and I was pretty happy with them they are sooo snuggly and comfy!

I will have to take some photos of the others when I put them on, but they are long sleeved and more for winter. Although I will HAVE to get some more tbh as I love them so much.

SO I have one more day of work and 30minutes of today left! Then I will be on my week holiday. A WHOLE 9 days off. I can't even explain how excited I am! Off to France on the Monday back on the Friday! 

I am also going for a drink and dinner with Ruxandra and Luke. I was really looking forward to it but after the weekend I worry shes just coming because she feels she has too. I really hope that's not the case and I'm being paranoid but I don't know.

Swimming tonight then a nice sleep as I am SHATTERED, but first I need to kill the last half an hour of the day!

Nearly half way through the week!

It’s Wednesday again. Nearly halfway through the week. I didn’t get to go to my interview on Friday it got cancelled which is pants pie, however it has been rescheduled to the 6^th of March which is in exactly a week. It will be nice as Matt has the day off too. I’m also super prepared as I prepared everything on Thursday evening and got to work at 8am on Friday ready to leave at 11:30am and I got an e-mail at 8:03am saying that had to postpone which was sucky. But they have rescheduled which I am pleased about so I will be going next week now and it gives me chance to find a nice interview dress over the weekend.

My dress from eBay came and fitted like a dream, I was going to wear it to the interview but I felt it was a little plain so I thought I would treat myself to a new dress as my other interview dress is ripped and that way I have a new work dress anyway! I’m thinking within the £40 budget! I shouldn't really spend anymore monies. Bah.

Although saying that this week I have acquired a few new items mwuahah.

So I am quite happy with my bits and pieces but seriously I am not spending anymore monies! I got Matt’s birthday present this week which was over £200 >.< but it’s done now yaaaay.

I can’t wait to go out for his birthday too and spend some days with him!! :D

Anyway I must do work. 

Ma Partay

I had a really nice Saturday this weekend. Work last week was manic and I had so much to do. But that was good as it meant the days flew by! But I have loads to do today and tomorrow.

Saturday I got up real early and went and took Matt to the station and then went to spec savers and got the contacts sorted out! Dailies seem  to be working much better for me than monthly ones. I then drove straight to Croydon and was there by 10:30am and it was really quiet and very pleasant shopping on a Saturday as usually I go in the afternoon and it is way too busy and hectic. 

 I had a very good shop too and got some lovely bits. The jumper to the right, I've always wanted a tacky Christmas jumper and now my dreams have come true and for £12 too so it wasn't even expensive. I cannot wait to wear that out at Christmas time! WOOOPA! 

Then I went into New look and found a LOVELY skirt and I tried it on a it looked great which made me very happy. It’s hard to find skirts that I love. Usually I hate the pattern or the shape is completely wrong, but this one was exactly what I like and I also bought a Moustache scarf! I will post a picture of them up when I am next wearing them!
I then went for lunch and a look round Redhill with Gem and then picked Matt up from work and headed over to Cat’s house to have a night with the girls from Uni and a little birthday thing…. BUT THEY ACTUALLY THREW ME A SURPRISE PARTY.

 It was soo soo soo cool and there was a party table and balloons and a banner and food and drink! It was sooo nice! And then they got me the coolest gifts. They all went and got me a bear hoody that I have wanted forever and Aimee drew me a pillow of all the amazing things that I love the most. It made me completely speechless which is something that is very hard…. It was amazing and it was all so thoughtful!

We then ordered Pizza and ate too much, watched some TV played with balloons and just had a really really nice night! I had to leave about midnight as I was falling asleep I was so tired, but it was fun and I was really touched they would go out their way to do that for me.

Sunday on the other hand was pretty shit. Had a MASSIVE HEADACHE, weather was awful and it was boring and long and I wasted half  the day asleep. Ahhh well, and now it’s Monday again and I have a whole week of work ahead of me. Boooo….

My birthday and France.

I’m going to start this post with a list of complaints.

1.  I fucked my thumb nail. It split half way down my nail in the actual nail bed and I tried to ‘fix’ it and now I have a stubby thumb.
2.  My hand is super sore. I have this Calais/dry skin on my hand and I have started to cut it away and file it when it gets quite big as it also gets very sore and making it smaller seems to help. This time it has made it 100x worse.
3. I’m exhausted. I went swimming and then stayed up and watched Dexter way too late.
4. I’m not watching Dexter and this makes me sad. What I would give to go home and watch that all day…   pfft.
5.  There’s still one more day left after this one D:
6. This time last week I was in France >:|

I could go on but I will stop….

On the plus side I am seeing Fee on Saturday and RedDwarf is on tonight.

So France went really well and I had a lovely time. Exhausted on the first day with the traveling and the fact I only got about 3 hours sleep >.<  Had a DELICOUS breakfast in the airport at Frankie and Bennys…. MANY NOMS. Then realised I hadn’t packed a change of top, I was all FUUUUUUUUUUU! Really annoying I was so busy fart assing around getting ready I forgot to pack a bloody change of top…. Got into France around 2pm and went to the food place to buy food for the week, flight was quick and the weather wasn’t too bad.

The evening was nice, ate Pizza I kept falling asleep and we started watching Dexter and it is amazaballs. Like seriously, I’m hooked! Then on the Thursday we went to Anger (On-Jay) and had a DELICOUS lunch and did and bit of shopping and I found an H&M HURROAH and bought a new vest top…. YAY CHANGE OF CLOTHES! Go all that way and that’s all I bought! Again just had a relaxing evening and then on Friday got up late and went to the zoo! It was amazing they had penguins, tigers, lions, leopards, snow leopards. I also got attacked and pecked by some evil bird with a massive long evil beak! The zoo was lovely and was made to feel more like you were walking around with the animals rather than staring at them through bars. The weather on Thursday and Friday was amazing 24 degrees and sunny!

Then on Saturday we had a chill out day. Matts Dad and Julie went out and we played with the dogbot and watched Tv and napped.  It was very nice! And then on the Sunday we flew home. Got back by 3pm and had dominos for dinner.

Then it was my birthday on the 

Monday. Had a nice day with Matt even though it was raining all day…. Went to Croydon and had Poppin Café for Lunch and returned stuff and bought stuff. Stone chipped my windscreen which sucked ass. Then I threw myself a party with the Mr Poes and cooked party foods and watched lots of Dexter with Matt :D

Matt got me a beautiful Hello Kitty Neo figure, I got a Hello Kitty Liberty Tes Set, a dress, two bracelets, Vans, jewellery box, gloves, earrings, scarf, purse and nail varnish! 

Then on the Tuesday didn't do much cause I had to wait in for Auto Glass but eventually went to Lakeside where I bought amazing pajamas. 

Hello Kitty from Primark, they were a little more than I would spend but I had my monies from my birthday.

So yeah now I am back at work and that week I have been so excited for, for over a month has just gone….. pretty sad really D:

Onwards and upwards though :D start focusing on Christmas wooooooooooooooooooo

Dresses, and France in a few days YAAAAAY

Ok so after work I did decide to go shopping! I found pretty much nothing. Boo

It took me like 1-2 hours to get there as I got stuck on the M25 so by the time we got there we only had about an hour pfft! I did however find this super cute top, It's a peplum top with cute little owls on it and it has a cute peter pan collar!

I then went to Crawley with Gem on Saturday and found nothing again, it was WAAAY TOO busy! So today I decided to rick it as I am desperate to get some cute bits for France! I CAME INTO LUCK and I found lots of things!

I got this dress in a burgundy, its lovely and from primark £13! Bargin, looks sooo nice. I also got this snood that was £4 and is MASSIVE! Like seriously massive! and a new cardigan for £6 as I do love Primark cardigans even though they get holes and lose thier shape they are so soft and cheap!

I also go this stripe dress. I thought, nooo stripes make you look wider, but when I put it on I was like WOWZA I LOVE IT! I think with a colour cardy and a nice big scarf it will look so cute! This was also £13 in Primark!

Then I found this is NewLook. They did not have it the last few days when I have been hunting! It's super cute and only £17. Its sooo silky soft and I love it, its more purple than red like the other one! It will go very nice with my new snood!.

 

So I am really excited now as I am going to France in 2 days and I have amazing things to wear! AND I FEEL so cute in them, which is what I wanted, and surprisingly they are all really nice lengths! I can't wait to wear these, and we are there for 3 whole days and then 2 half days so I have an outfit a day :D wooohooo.

I believe we are going to Anger and also going to the Zoo at some point too! I think I will take an extra dress in case we go out for dinner, well if I can squeeze it in my hand luggage as that is all I am taking! Matt most likey wont take much so maybe i'll squeeze some in his mwuahahah!

I am feeling much better about myself and things today, even though I have the worst possible headache ever.
