4 day week YAY!

Its Monday I am going to write a blog post I think. I have to say I only have half an hour left of work but my brain stopped focusing a good hour ago. I think we should all just work till 3pm. That’s when my brain gives up anyway.! This week as well as next week is a short week HURRAY! Only 4 days as its Easter at the weekend so we have Friday and Monday off for the bank holiday. It’s weird not having an actual holiday like when I was in education, but I guess I will have to make do with 2 days rather than 2 weeks D:

The weekend just gone was ok. The week before was pretty awful tbh. I had my interview on the Wednesday as I think I said in my last post. That did not go very well at all. I decided on the journey there I didn’t want it!. The train timetable sites told me it would take an hour to get there. YUP! I thought that’s ok I can do that. HOWEVER, it actually took me 2 hours. When you include finding somewhere to park, waiting for trains and then walking at the other end you add an extra hour, and it was the same story on the way home. The job itself seemed too busy and hard for me. I do not want a job that is my life, although it feels cheesy to say I want to work to live, not live to work. I think I would excepted to stay till 9-10pm at night a lot and then work at home. Didn’t matter anyway was I didn’t even get the job.

I really want something closer to home. I dislike traveling 45mins to an hour to get to and from work so 2 hour journey is out of the question.

Anyway I’ll keep looking and one day something will come up that I want!

This weekend was ok, it went so fast. Saturday it bloody snowed again, Matt therefore didn’t go in! We ended up going to Croydon, where I finally found a nice little summer jacket for a reasonable price. £20 George Asda, it will do when it gets warmer, although at this rate I do not believe it will get any warmer ever. It is really insanely cold at the moment. My skin is taking a battering from the wind and the ice, even my poor little car is starting to suffer! CURSE YOU WEATHER.

I am REALLY REALLY HUNGRY. Healthy eating failed BIG time last week and right now all I want to do is go home and stuff my face, but I’m not going to do that I am going to go home and have pizza/pasta and salad; I haven’t decided which one yet! Only about 15 minutes left now and I seriously cannot wait to get my ass home.

Ha Ha Ha Happy Tuesday Folks

It has been a while since I last wrote on here. I worked Monday and Tuesday last week and had the rest of the week off. It was GLOROUS! Wednesday I took Matt to London for his birthday dinner. We didn’t go to bubble dogs where we had planned to go, in the end we went to Hard Rock Café. We got our hair cut and the weather was pretty nice in the morning. Then we headed into London where it kept going between warm sunshine to snow and sleet? I mean WTF? Seriously it was confusing. We didn’t have that much to do and ended up wondering around quite a bit. Then we went to Bubble Dogs and sat in a pub round the corner while we waited for it to open as it had got very cold at this point. I think we were both put off with how fancy pants it looked and we looked up some reviews and it really was a fancy champagne bar that sold hot dogs on the side. So we decided to seek somewhere else. It took ages to get to Hard Rock and the queue was pretty big they said an hour wait in the cold. I didn’t really wanna wait but I was super tired and hungry and I just wanted to sit and eat so we waited. Luckily within 20minutes we were called in. The food was lush. However it was all very expensive and cost me £42 for two burgers and two drinks :/ we were also sat very close to the door so it was pretty cold even inside. We eventually got home and I was a little dis appointed because I thought it was going to be an amazing day like last Wednesday and my trip to Brighton but it ended up being a little bit dull. Alas.

I gave Matt his gift and he seemed pretty chuffed with it (he is still building it nearly a week later ahah!) and on his birthday we went into Croydon where I found the cutest cardigan ever. They only had a 12 and although it fitted I wanted a 16 so it could be snuggly so I left it. Later that day we ended up going to Lakeside, Matt was restless and I REALLY WANTED that cardigan. I found it even though I had to search high and low but I found the last two and one was a 16 WOOHOOO, I even did a little jump up and down when I found it!

Even though it was Matt’s birthday I ended up getting the iPhone 5 as it turned out I was due an upgrade so that was pretty cool! Even though I couldn’t use it till Monday as it took all weekend to transfer my number.

Anyway! Friday was a proper lazy day in which I didn’t really get dressed instead I washed A LOT OF CLOTHES, I mean like pretty much everything we own. Saturday matt went out with his brother to London and I went to Croydon with Gem where I got these insanely cute shoes.

I had some slippers I got in top shop YEARS ago and I loved them so much I wished they were shoes. They are pretty much the same which is great! Except these are cats and my slippers were mice, BUT SOOO CUTE!

Sunday we had dinner at mine and then did the food shopping and had another lazy day. It was just so nice spending lots of time with Matt and some time to just chill out and not do much!

My interview has now been moved to tomorrow, I feel bad cause I’m taking a half day even though I’ve had a crap load of time off but hey ho! So at 5:15pm tomorrow in London I will get my interview! That’s if they don’t cancel again! *got everything crossed*

I’ve given up on my jacket hunt. Nothing I like suits me or is in my price range. I picked up a parka in a pocket from Primark for £9 last weekend and I will make do with that. It’s quite annoying really!

I still have an hour and a half at work today which is awful I really want to go home but hopefully it will go quickly! Going to watch SG1 and eat my dinner in bed tonight it will be lush!

Its Friday woooo

Hello all or anyone who may read this. It is Friday thank god. This week has been shorter than others as I had Wednesday off. So I was meant to go to my interview on Wednesday. Book the day off, got up at 7am got ready, did a full face of makeup and my hair real nice and put my new dress on that cost me £40! Got to the train station at 8:22am after a 10 minute walk from the car….. nearly jumped on the first train but decided to wait for the second one, so sat down and looked at my phone and saw an e-mail, they cancelled again. The lady was ill. I could of cried. Luckily the train guy refunded my ticket as it cost me nearly £17 and I plodded a little heart broken back to the car.

My day however was far from ruined. I ended up having an absolutely lovely day! Matt was very nice to me and he took me out for some breakfast. I wasn’t going to have anything as I had, had cereal but gave in a ordered egg of toast with some bacon, BUT IT WAS MASSIVE! Delicious however REALLY REALLY DELICOUS! Then I got lots of kisses and cuddle and we went to Brighton as I had spent an hour getting ready! We had a lovely day shopping and what not and got Matt some needed new trainers, finally got him to get a pair of vans, I think everyone is naturally cute in vans so Matt is like super hot/cute in vans!

We had Burger King (the healthy eating just flew out the door that day) and we went down into the laines where Matt treated me to this Iron Fist dress. It was £45 reduced to £18 and I love it! I think he rather liked me in it so he insisted we took it home. I will be wearing it to London next Wednesday when I take him out to dinner for his birthday!

I was pretty depressed to go back to work after such a nice day out and then lots of lovely kisses and cuddles in bed but it had to be done, and now it is Friday YAY!

I have the weekend, then I have two days at work and then 5 whole days off and 4 of them will be spent with Matt which I cannot wait for! I believe they plan to reschedule my interview for next Friday so fingers crossed it happens!

I have no plans this weekend really, I cannot wait to get home and EAT my Friday Pizza bread and potato zoo animals dinner as I am FUCKING HUNGRY SERIOUSLY HUNGRY! I have been since 3pm and it’s now 4:40pm. Only half an hour left HURROAH!

The weather this weekend is meant to rain and snow. I meant WTF, Monday and Tuesday this week were beautiful. The sun was out and you didn’t really NEED a coat and jacket would of done fine. Wednesday turned dull and cloudy and now its just shitting it down with rain. It’s meant to feel like –10 next week. Yuck.

Anyway I’m going to end this here as I have run out of things to write for now and it’s almost home time, it really cannot come any sooner!
