4 day week YAY!

Its Monday I am going to write a blog post I think. I have to say I only have half an hour left of work but my brain stopped focusing a good hour ago. I think we should all just work till 3pm. That’s when my brain gives up anyway.! This week as well as next week is a short week HURRAY! Only 4 days as its Easter at the weekend so we have Friday and Monday off for the bank holiday. It’s weird not having an actual holiday like when I was in education, but I guess I will have to make do with 2 days rather than 2 weeks D:

The weekend just gone was ok. The week before was pretty awful tbh. I had my interview on the Wednesday as I think I said in my last post. That did not go very well at all. I decided on the journey there I didn’t want it!. The train timetable sites told me it would take an hour to get there. YUP! I thought that’s ok I can do that. HOWEVER, it actually took me 2 hours. When you include finding somewhere to park, waiting for trains and then walking at the other end you add an extra hour, and it was the same story on the way home. The job itself seemed too busy and hard for me. I do not want a job that is my life, although it feels cheesy to say I want to work to live, not live to work. I think I would excepted to stay till 9-10pm at night a lot and then work at home. Didn’t matter anyway was I didn’t even get the job.

I really want something closer to home. I dislike traveling 45mins to an hour to get to and from work so 2 hour journey is out of the question.

Anyway I’ll keep looking and one day something will come up that I want!

This weekend was ok, it went so fast. Saturday it bloody snowed again, Matt therefore didn’t go in! We ended up going to Croydon, where I finally found a nice little summer jacket for a reasonable price. £20 George Asda, it will do when it gets warmer, although at this rate I do not believe it will get any warmer ever. It is really insanely cold at the moment. My skin is taking a battering from the wind and the ice, even my poor little car is starting to suffer! CURSE YOU WEATHER.

I am REALLY REALLY HUNGRY. Healthy eating failed BIG time last week and right now all I want to do is go home and stuff my face, but I’m not going to do that I am going to go home and have pizza/pasta and salad; I haven’t decided which one yet! Only about 15 minutes left now and I seriously cannot wait to get my ass home.
